“Boo! At the Pru” took place on Sunday and the Prudential was jam-crowded by an onslaught of kids.
And if walking around the Pru on this day didn’t engender a smiling face on anyone, that person would be tagged as hard-hearted.
These are the moments that repays one for the exhausting job of parenting.
Kids keep parents stable.
Their schools provide the calendars they live by.
Cultural events that include kids (Halloween, Christmas) provide entertainment.
Our lives are tailored around their needs and interests.
When thinking about having children, consider that they rule.

Chuckle of the day:

Hospital regulations require a wheelchair for patients being discharged.
While working as a student nurse, I found one elderly gentleman already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet who insisted he didn't need my help to leave the hospital.
After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let me wheel him to the elevator.
On the way down I asked him if his wife was meeting him.
"She’ll be here in a few minutes,” he said. "She's still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown."
