A few days ago we posted a commentary on the male-freezing when near an attractive female.
Yesterday I didn’t and made the acquaintance of Deng Zhiyan, hereinafter, Hermione, yes, after Emma Watson’s character.
Hermione opened existentialautotrip and found the picture of the hitherto unknown woman who has closed every blog for a long time now.
Attracted by her coy, challenging attitude, I had picked the picture out of the ‘free to use and enjoy section’ of Bing images, ascribing wisecracks and fantastic stories to her.
She’s far from unknown: she’s a major Asian pop singer. Hermione says she grew up on her music.

Kat loves the Italo Sunday Gravy so I had to feed her that as one of the two meals she would eat with me at home during this very short visit.
We had a guest, one of my techie friends, and he, too enjoyed it.
Oh! I did, too, although pasta is not a friend of weight-control.

I used to be a K-Pop fan like most of the Asian kids back in secondary school and high school, and she and her girl group Girl’s Generation basically made my childhood.

A pheasant was standing in a field chatting to a bull.
"I would love to be able to get to the top of yonder tree", sighed the pheasant, "but I haven't got the energy"
"Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?" replied the bull. "They're packed with nutrients."
The pheasant pecked at a lump of dung and found that it actually gave him enough strength to reach the first branch of the tree. The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch. And so on.
Finally, after a fortnight, there he was proudly perched at the top of the tree. Whereupon he was spotted by a farmer who dashed into the farmhouse, emerged with a shotgun, and shot the pheasant right out of the tree.
The Moral of the Story: Bullshit might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there.

Kim Tae-yeon (born March 9, 1989), more commonly known mononymously as Taeyeon, is a South Korean singer.
She was a trainee at SM Entertainment's Starlight Academy during her middle school years before debuting as a member of the agency's girl group Girls' Generation in 2007.
Since then, she has risen to prominence due to the group's success on the Asian music scene and further participated in the agency's projects Girls' Generation-TTS, SM the Ballad, and Girls' Generation-Oh!GG.
Aside from group activities, she has also recorded songs for various television dramas and movies.
