So I spent Saturday morning relearning Adobe Audition to be able to produce episodes of “Conflicted,” an unpublished fiction manuscript.
Midday I learned about Twitch except for how to upload which I will learn on Monday, adding that to the Social Media to which I upload my videos and audios.
I spent the afternoon on the blog and worked out at Planet Fitness.
I hope to rerecord and publish the first chapter tonight and the second chapter on Sunday.
Sunday I will spend with my daughter Kat: dinner at Peach Farm and a walk around the Seaport district.
That area is like visiting a foreign city: it’s unlike any other area in Boston with its wide streets and mostly unattractive buildings.
Next week I hope to establish a daily rhythm encompassing a modified blog and a combination of seven new videos and podcasts.
It’s exciting.

Chuckle of the day:

A paraprosdokian is a figure of speech in which the latter part of a sentence, phrase, or larger discourse is surprising or unexpected in a way that causes the reader or listener to reframe or reinterpret the first part.
It is frequently used for humorous or dramatic effect, sometimes producing an anticlimax.
For this reason, it is extremely popular among comedians and satirists.
Some paraprosdokians not only change the meaning of an early phrase, but they also play on the double meaning of a particular word, creating a form of syllepsis.
Here are three examples:
Take my wife—please!" —Henny Youngman
"There but for the grace of God—goes God." —Winston Churchill
"If I could just say a few words… I'd be a better public speaker." —Homer Simpson

On Thu, Oct 17, 2019 at 6:20 PM dom wrote about internet followers in the digital age saying that it’s likely that an unpublished manuscript of mine will be given new life through podcasts that may in time attract 100 followers.
“A hundred is obscurity” some will say.
Not me.
“Thrilled” is how I would describe me.
To which Sally C replied:
Dear Dom,
If, in a few weeks' time, a hundred people have read Chapter One of "conflicted,” up from zero yesterday or the day before, why should it stop there?
In a few months' time, you may have a thousand, in a few years' time, a hundred thousand.
Now that it's out there, there's no limit.
And how soon (like, probably tomorrow) before your adoring fans clamor for Chapter Two?
Your attitude is exactly right - woooo-hoooo!
I hear tell through Colleen's newsletter that she will be interviewing you soon for her "The Journey of a Story." I can hardly wait!
Sally
Web Meister responds: Your kind words are fuel for my work.
Will be talking to you over the airwaves on Tuesday.
