Who is the sexiest partner?
Such a gosh-darn easy, softball of a question.

She/he who comes to you, who needs to come to you, as an expression of their love,
so ardently,
the physicality a mere shadow of the existential.

She/he whose love has morphed into a need of oneness.
Possession.
Intertwining fingers.
Arms around waist.
Legs around waist.
Pieces into spaces.
Not letting go.
Can’t let go.

Beside each other.
Needing to lay quietly.
Embracing.
Smelling.
Tasting.

Physical, but so much more than.

Who is the sexiest partner?
Such a gosh-darn easy, softball of a question.

Tracking Postings – Tracking Time
Tuesday, July 16, 2019

Our 466th consecutive posting, committed to 5,000.
After 466 posts we’re at the 9.32 percentile of our commitment, that commitment a different way of marking the passage of time.
Posting always done by 6.00am the day of, but usually by 6pm of the night before.

On this day Boston will enjoy warm temperatures, with a high of 88* and a feels-like of 88* and sunny skies.

The next days look like hot. Perhaps uncomfortably hot, especially doing strenuous outdoor work like walking four miles with a heavy backpack. And a couple of days of thundershowers possible.

This is where people start complaining.
Not me.
Except for A/C which has several times in the past made me sick.

Chuckle of the Day:

“Doc, my son has been having a relationship with our maid. I think he’s got a social disease,” this the father telling his urologist on the phone.
“Okay, “Get him in here right away and I’ll take care of him.”

The whole truth? I’ve also been involved with the maid too, and I’ve got the same symptoms he has.”

“Then you come in with him and I’ll fix you both up,” replied the doctor.

“Well,” the man went on, “I think my wife has it too.”

“Oh crap!” the urologist shouted. “That means we’ve all got it!”

Rembrandt (15 July 1606 – 4 October 1669) was a Dutch draughtsman, painter and printmaker. An innovative and prolific master in three media, he is generally considered one of the greatest visual artists in the history of art and the most important in Dutch art history.
Unlike most Dutch masters of the 17th century, Rembrandt's works depict a wide range of style and subject matter, from portraits and self-portraits to landscapes, genre scenes, allegorical and historical scenes, biblical and mythological themes, as well as animal studies.

His contributions to art came in a period of great wealth and cultural achievement that historians call the Dutch Golden Age, when Dutch art (especially Dutch painting), although in many ways antithetical to the Baroque style that dominated Europe, was extremely prolific and innovative, giving rise to important new genres.

Like many artists of the period, such as Johannes Vermeer, Rembrandt was also an avid art collector and dealer.

We enjoyed a period film of that era, Girl with a Pearl Earring, a 2003 romantic drama film directed by Peter Webber.
The screenplay was adapted by screenwriter Olivia Hetreed, based on the 1999 novel of the same name by Tracy Chevalier.
Scarlett Johansson stars as Griet, a young 17th-century servant in the household of the Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer (played by Colin Firth) at the time he painted Girl with a Pearl Earring (1665) in the city of Delft in Hollan

Love Vermeer. Always have a set of his paintings. God knows there are so few. Yet so exquisite.
