My weight is slipping out of control.
Why me? I cried.
Dinner parties.
Holidays.
Trips.
Schedule change.
Celebrations, important and fabricated.
Godiva’s chocolate soft-serve with chocolate sauce.
Restaurants.
God bless America.
She gives us so many, “Well just for this’s.”
My weight is slipping away.
Why me? I cried.
The answer came back:
Because you have no respect for yourself.
Because you have no will power.

I cried.

Chuckle of the Day:
Monday, July 1, 2019
A snail and a slug got in a crash.
The police, ambulances and news reporters turned out in force.
One of the reporters asked a tortoise who was by the side of the road when the crash happened, “What did you see?”
The tortoise turned slowly to her and said, "I don't know. It all happened so fast!"

Overeating is the excess food consumed in relation to the energy that an organism expends (or expels via excretion), leading to weight gaining and often obesity.
It may be regarded as an eating disorder.
This term may also be used to refer to specific episodes of over-consumption.
For example, many people overeat during festivals or while on holiday.
Overeating can be a symptom of binge eating disorder or bulimia nervosa.
Compulsive over eaters depend on food to comfort themselves when they are stressed, suffering bouts of depression, and have feelings of helplessness.

Good Morning on this Monday, the first day of July, 2019
Our lead picture shows different circumstances and attitudes towards food.
We posted the Boston weather report for the day, noted the growing number of posts as a calendar marker, and exhorted our bloggers to respect time.
We posted our roast duck dinner, and a snail and slug chuckle, and a thumbnail on overeating.
And now? Gotta go.
Che vuoi? Le pocketbook?
See you soon.
Your love.
