After several very busy weeks I seem to be coming into a few days without significant activity.
Most welcome.
Not that I don’t enjoy the activity when it’s on me, but quiet, alone time is nice, too.
We need a mix.
What shall I do with this time-bonanza?
Look at some videos of my granddaughter dancing.
Answer some very long emails.
A day trip?
I think so.
Yes.
All of the above.
Many like to catch up on sleep.
That sounds so strange to those of us who are sleep-challenged.
Long bouts of sleep are alien.
Not even existing in distant memory.
The only way we have to combat our fore-shortened nights is to stay gainfully active.
Will do.
Even during our rare quiescent moments.

Farmhouse in Provence, also known as Entrance Gate to a Farm with Haystacks, is an oil-on-canvas painting by Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh, produced in 1888, at the height of his career.
Farmhouse in Provence was painted while Van Gogh was living in Arles, in southern France. Partially due to having been inspired by painter Adolphe Monticelli, he sought the Provence region of France to further expand his painting skill and experience.
Van Gogh used several pairs of complementary colors in the painting, the color contrast bringing an intensity to his work.
The painting now hangs in the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., as part of the Ailsa Mellon Bruce Collection.
Complementary colors are pairs of colors which, when combined or mixed, cancel each other out (lose hue) by producing a grayscale color like white or black.
When placed next to each other, they create the strongest contrast for those two colors. Complementary colors may also be called "opposite colors."
Which pairs of colors are considered complementary depends on the color theory one uses:
Modern color theory uses either the RGB additive color model or the CMY subtractive color model, and in these, the complementary pairs are red–cyan, green–magenta, and blue–yellow.
In the traditional RYB color model, the complementary color pairs are red–green, yellow–purple, and blue–orange.
Opponent process theory suggests that the most contrasting color pairs are red–green, and blue–yellow.
